Hi, I'm Sarah, I am also the admin/creator of this board. I was googling binge eating recovery and found there were no forums dedicated solely to binge eating so I decided to create one. I have recently been diagnosed with BED and awaiting therapy for it. I am also a member of Weight Watchers to try and control my weight, but when a binge strikes the WW goes out of the window completely From binge eating my BMI went from being about 22 to 31, and currently it's back down to 28.9 so I am hoping to lose enough weight to be in the 'normal' category again. Even though I've lost weight it's been very, very slow and I still suffer from huge binges which I feel powerless to stop. I hope that there will be others here to suggest ways of preventing binges, and that we can all support each other in this. I'm 24 years old and studying at university I also have bipolar disorder and on medication for that which doesn't help with my weight
