Hey, my name is Alex and I'm 20 years old. I've had troubles with binge eating and hording food pretty much my whole life, but now that I'm older it's sort of got out of hand. Eating anytime I'm doing anything even a little stressful has become a terrible habit I've formed, and while I was always a little chunky looking because of my body type (even when I was underweight I looked kind of chubby), I am now over 200lbs. I've tried working out and eating healthy, and while the working out part comes easily, I always fall back into my unhealthy eating habits. I just started to see a therapist, but that's been more to treat my PTSD, and while I feel that the disorder may be a good chunk of the issue, unhealthy habits that I find impossible to break ate also a big part of it as well. Thanks so much to the creator. I hope this picks up. I hope it really helps

Hi Alex Welcome to the forum. I can definitely related to eating when I feel stressed- I heard a phrase a while back about "eating your feelings" and it definitely applies to me! I hope seeing your therapist helps you, and you can learn ways of dealing with the urges to over eat.
